Bruce (22 months) is reported to be a mix of Labrador and Great Dane. He has attributes of both breeds that shine in his personality. Considered an "inside pet" Bruce loves the couch but needs space to run (untethered) when he gets the chance. Bruce is very loyal, smart, curious, skeptical of strangers, protective, and wants to be the center of your attention. He is dog friendly (some dogs are intimidated by his size and energy). We are not aware of any exposure to cats but he did previously live in a home with a small dog. Bruce is an athletic dog and walks well on a leash, with a tendency to forget he is on a leash and pulls (darts) until corrected. He is house trained responds to basic commands etc. We are searching for a special home where a strong dog-human bond is sought. With a bit more attention, socialization, and training, Bruce could be a "therapy dog" due to his nature. Bruce is a dog with a beautiful soul. He is neutered, heart worm negative, microchipped, and UTP on all vaccinations.
